Hi, I'm Roe, the sole owner-operator of Save Money Tahoe Boat Storage.
I've been a Tahoe resident and a California general building contractor working in the Lake Tahoe Basin for more than 20 years.
I started this boat storage business after years of listening to my Lake Tahoe remodel and maintenance customers complain about the stress of storing their beloved boats for the winter.
Customers often asked me, "Why can't we find someone like you, Roe, who personally takes care of our boat the way you take care of our house?"
So in 2012, I decided to do just that, and I started Save Money Tahoe Boat Storage.
I wanted to give Lake Tahoe boat owners an easy, convenient, hassle-free, and affordable alternative to high marina prices or having to do everything themselves.
I took care of my customers' homes like they were my own, and now I take care of my customers' boats like they are my own. I often tell my customers, "Don't worry. I like your boat as much as you do."

Yes. The current service is indoor storage only, with no uncovered outdoor storage and no shrink wrapping.
How long is storage?
The package includes up to eight months of secure indoor storage through the winter season.
Do I need to transport the boat?
No. Pickup and return of your boat and trailer are included in the full-service package.
Is the boat professionally winterized?
Yes. Roe personally and professionally winterizes your boat to protect it through freezing winter weather.
What happens in spring?
Let Roe know when you are ready for your boat to be returned to your specified location. He will summerize it and return it.

Yes! For comparable full-service indoor winter boat storage, including pickup and return, professional winterization, summerization, and up to eight months of storage, I haven't found a lower price. If you find cheaper boat storage at Lake Tahoe offering the same complete service, show me the written price and I'll beat it!
Does cheaper boat storage Lake Tahoe mean cheaper care for my boat?
No! My price is lower because my overhead is lower. I'm the owner and operator. I don't have staff or expensive Lake Tahoe marina real estate, and the storage facility is in a very safe area outside the high-cost Tahoe Basin. Your boat still gets premier service; round-trip transport, professional winterization and summerization, up to eight months of secure indoor winter storage, and a personal touch and care you won't get from bigger companies or marinas.
